Even tho this album is pretty generic, I don't think it's necessarily bad. I stopped thinking Saosin were an amazing band after Anthony left, but with that being said, this isn't as bad as it could have been, I'll probably give it a 3, maybe even a 3.5.

Green made this band.
People will always say that but their debut album proved that in some case they are better of w/o him. Cove's vocals on that album were spectacular
that being said....album so far has been a disappointment...will give it a spin or two more to see if anything changes

At the moment Circa Survive is so far ahead of Saosin it is unbelievable. Now, if you look at Avalon, Green's solo album, it wasn't that good, but Circa Survive with Green is so far ahead of Saosin without him. The band still has potential but it sounds like they lost all musical talent when he left.

coves not that dissimilar to green, but the music on these songs is just vomit inducing. Did their drummer forget how to play those ridiculous fills he used to do or simply exchange his skills for mediocrity?

they aren't bad but they ruined keep secrets honestly. keep secrets was so good. new keep secrets is not so good.

also people that say GREEN WAS WHAT MADE SAOSIN are very very dumb. Yes, anthony green is a good vocalist, great even. but he would have been just a good vocalist in an average band if he didn't have a band that wrote music as well as saosin did back then.

This could have been better. It's just very average. 3 things wrong with this album:
-After hearing Keep Secrets, I Keep My Secrets Safe is a massive disappointment.
-None of the lyrics really get to me, like in the first album.
-The best track is the japanese bonus track, and I don't live in Japan.
This album is disappointing, I think I'll buy their S/T instead.

TtN wasn't good just because of anthony green. Green is a great vocalist but the guitars and especially the drums were a lot better there too. And when it comes to instruments Anthony isn't quite that great (yet, hopefully) ex. Circa Survive. All of Saosin had talent but they just stopped being good (possibly for mainstream attention) Maybe that's why Anthony left? Who knows. Point is All of saosin was good and now saosin sucks and Circa Survive is slightly above average. Sound of Animals Fighting > Circa Survive > Saosin.
