Sonic Syndicate Reveal New Singer

2009-08-26 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 15 Comments
Swedish death metal act Sonic Syndicate have revealed Englishman Nathan J Biggs as their new singer.

The band commented: "Nathan is probably the best thing that ever happened to Sonic Syndicate since the discovery of distorted guitars and the work we've done together is by far the best we've achieved to date! He's like the long lost brother we never had and has also fused the rest of us together more closely than before. The rebellion has begun!"

Biggs added: "Something incredible and totally unpredictable has happened here! Not only have I managed to land myself in one the most promising bands in the world, I've gained a new family too. The energy between Sonic and I is electric and its producing some breath taking results. We're taking it to the next level - Don't blink or you'll be running to catch up with us!"

Sonic Syndicate will re-release their 2008 album Love And Other Disasters on November 6 with a new EP featuring Biggs, entitled Rebellion. A new album is scheduled for release in April or May of 2009.

Saw them live with....Amon Amarth maybe? Can't remember. It was horrible, they are like a gothenburg Atreyu. And Atreyu(like most shitty metalcore) is a horrible rip off gothenburg mdm bands so it's pretty bad.

Their comments are annoying to read, they are too excited about each other.

that they have two vocalists which is unnecessary; one sings and screams, while the other just screams that sounds exactly the same as the first guy. dunno what this new singer will bring forth.

The only thing that could save this band now is if the bassist stars in a graphic film.

I saw them live with In Flames and they were nothing special. Their bassist is still hot though.

When I read the title I was thinking "yay they got someone better!"

Needless to say I was disappointed.
