I don't think it's really disputable that the musicianship on Colors is well above average, but if it's not for you it's not for you.

I believe the last 3:38 of White Walls is plenty justification for the musicianship comment.

Musicianship is one thing, their lack of ability to write a coherent song is another. They basically solo the fuck out of every single one of their songs and mash a whole bunch of verses together in between. On top of that, they have the worst metal vocalist ever. Nobody ever said they couldn't play.

Really on the soloing end that really isn't accurate imo, the only ones that stand out to me from Colors are the little one on Prequel to the Sequel and the ending part of White Walls, and on Alaska just Selkies, All Bodies, and the Alaska intro.

Coherence I can't argue with you seeing as it's really up to the person whether they find something to be coherent, however I enjoy the break from the regular intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus

Well actually I originally came here to watch the video, because I found the other ones to be funny, and then someone brought up how excited they were and I was all like "I'm not excited at all...
