There was nothing "heavy" or "intricate" about that song, nor did it sound more "rock" than Decemberunderground, nor was it anything like STS.

Maybe they jam something in there but it didn't seem to be building up to anything...I guess I'll just have to wait until the full song is released but from just that clip, my expectations have been lowered quite a bit.

Yeah i don't think it sounds anything like The Missing Frame or Affliction.. Or anything on STS.. or DU.. i don't know. It definitely sounds nothing like i thought it would.. but i don't think that it sucks.

it sounds more like a hybrid of bleed black and carcinogen crush. not digging the blaqk audio voice. it would sound better with his nasally high pitched tone. but anyway if we're gonna go by 80 seconds of very poor audio quality then i guess this song is decidedly mediocre.

it's afi for crying out loud, you hear one and a half minutes of one of their songs, you already know what the rest will be like.

Everything post The Art of Drowning is so completely different than what AFI is, but Sing the Sorrow is great. Decemberunderground was upsetting and even moreso is their new single Carcinogen Crush. I miss the punk AFI.

I heard 3 songs from these guys before and in each he had some high nasaly annoying voice going with some nonsense but still somehow depressing lyrics (depressing theme and depressing cos they suck that hard)

Is the band still like this? Or was there a time when they werent? Cos I don't want to listen to the clip if he sings like that in it.

There are very few bands of any genre I dislike and I'd kinda like to like these guys

this is depressing i used to love AFI, i still do, but there making it very hard for me. Davey just needs to say "fuck my vocal chords" and sing like he did on art of drowning, and jade needs to go back to listening to the cure mixed in with minor threat and refused or something.

I know they are always changing which is good, but this new stuff just sounds...corny
