Really curious to hear this

Anybody into Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Voivod and even a bit of Mudvayne should check out Imminent Sonic Destruction - Recurring Themes. It's pretty cool. Hopefully I'll actually finish a review for it.

Imminent Sonic Destruction should fit you perfectly, Voivod. The music goes between chill prog similar to Porcupine Tree and latter-day Riverside to chunky, heavy riffs. The vocalist's clean singing reminds me of "Angel Rat"-era Voivod or Mudvayne's clean singing, but there are occasional moments of black metal screams, death growls, and some Hetfield-ish parts.
