hopefully they play some new songs on the Canadian Carnage tour.

I have doubts about this. Their last two albums were good, hope they can keep the momentum.

I actually didn't like United Abominations as much as everyone else seemed to. The cd had a lot of filler - probably only 7 or 8 songs that were decent. Hopefully this one can get back to where he was headed with The System Has Failed

United Abominations was excellent, especially compared to the trash that was Metallica's and Slayer's latest albums. Have high hopes for this too

I liked one song from UA, Sleepwalker. Im not keeping my fingers crossed.

to be honest, they could release a shit album and i wouldn't care as long as they toured. Both times i've seem them live has been insane.

I have Rust in Peace which is hands down a 5/5 album, so then I picked up UA which was good but nowhere near as good!

Their last album was good, but other than that they've sucked since "Countdown to Extinction" (and really the albums before Rust in Peace are hit-and-miss too).

i've only ever liked Rust in peace, countdown and UA. Youthanasia was actually not bad as well. but the rest is boring to me. hopefully this will rule.

Parts of the past two albums were decent, but overall mediocre. The 90s (aside from RIP) albums were pure garbage.

Hope this is heavier than United Abominations.
