Sorry if this was already posted, I remember reading a news article recently but I think it was just about the trailer. This was only announced on the 23rd anyways.
I'm glad Orion and Creeping Death, No Leaf Clover & Dyer's Eve are on the game. Needs moar Blackened though.
Some cool supporting bands too.

** all the Death Magnetic songs can be played on this game if you downloaded the album previous for GH III or GH WT. so for an extra $20 you can play those songs in this game.
All Nightmare Long is probably on there cause it's the latest single and they wanted to throw on a song from the album in case people can't download them on xbox or ps3.
... and yes I'm a nerd cause I've been following the news coverage for this :P

Glad to see bands like corrosion of conformity, mercyful fate, judas preist and Kyruss make it on to games like this. It'll give the fanboys a chanse to really get a taste of what happens when bands and musicians contiune to make good music after there first 4 albums

Yeah dude I 5 starred Jordan with 255k. I only just got GHII for Christmas though and dont play Jordan much, so i can def
improve that. However, I can't 5 star Misirlou, i'm not that great at fast strumming on GHII cuz of the more precise timing window

This isn't that bad of a list...more songs from Master would have been nice (Leper Messiah, Damage INC) along with more from And Justice and Ride the Lightning...but this should be cool to rockout to some of the best Metal/rock around...
