Bloodywood vs Babymetal

2024-12-07 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 9 Comments
Bloodywood have released their second single since signing to Fearless Records earlier this summer, this time teaming up with kawaii metal trio Babymetal for their latest offering, "Bekhauf".

Accompanied by an anime-inspired music video, the track combines Hindi, English and Japanese lyrics in a fusion of Bloodywood's trademark bhangra metal style and Babymetal's kawaii metal, and continue's Babymetal's current phase of collaborating with artists around the world, from the UK's Brin Me the Horizon and Germany's Electric Callboy, to Thai and US rappers F. Hero and Lil Uzi Vert. There is no word yet on whether "Bekhauf" and earlier single "Nu Delhi" will be part of a future second Bloodywood album.

I discovered bloodywood recently and have been loving them. Great band.

This is an awesome track. Even the rapper (who is very hit and miss for me) really works and sounds great on it.

Babymetal and bloodywood really work well together.

I was kinda worried about their future material, but these singles slap. Good that Jayant quickly recovered after his throat surgery.

This is singlehandedly better than most of Rakshak. Holy shit.

The two new singles go ridiculously hard. I can’t wait for their second album.

If there's gonna be a new record and they decide to go this jump-up throughout, the nu-metal revival will all be worth it.
