New The Devil's Trade LP, track 2023-05-30 by Fernando Alves | 4 Comments | Dark singer-songwriter act The Devil's Trade unveiled the title track of his upcoming album Vidékek vannak idebenn, out July 14th via Season of Mist. You can stream it below.
Dávid Makó comments on the track: "'Vidékek vannak idebenn' is the first song I have ever written in Hungarian. As usual it has a deeply personal layer but it also has another layer that is about the typical Eastern European political struggle: ignoring our history we make the same mistakes again and again till a point where our world gets so rotten and corrupted the only escape seems to be hiding in our own inner worlds. Luckily my inner world is flourishing more than ever."
Tracklist:
1. Felkelék én (3:17)
2. Flashing Through the Lack of Light (6:28)
3. Vidékek vannak idebenn (8:19)
4. Clear Like the Wind (5:36)
5. Liminal (6:42)
6. Fordulj kedves lovam (6:27)
7. All Kings Must Fall (3:30)
8. Új hajnal már nem jő (4:44)

This is very-very good.

Hell of a band name.

like this band, will check album when it comes out.
Song has some good moments, but doesn't justify the length of the track, maybe more for me because I can't understand hungarian.
