Legendary doom metal outfit Yob have remixed their 2011 LP Atma. Along with a new sound mix, the album artwork has also been revamped. The record is being released on Relapse Records.

I remember atma having a very mid-heavy sound which felt odd for a doom band. I hope they rounded things out

Love these guys and these particular songs are really awesome but I can understand the issues with the mix even though it didn't bother me personally.

It felt like they'd made a conscience decision to go with a weird/vintage kind of mix and in that sense it's nice to see a rerelease that might address that concern for the people that couldn't enjoy the album because of the production.
