It's been 10 years, wow

Eh average, no new Omnislash, and also doesnt seem to hit the high of the best songs on Masstaden.

I doubt they can make another album as good as Masstaden but this was pretty good.

This is better than the first song released a couple years ago.

Am I allowed to not be impressed by this? Fuck this was so bland I could hardly go through a second listen. Majorly bummed. Still stoked for more from these guys but this one disappoints.

Calling this a song would be an exaggeration by any traditional standards. This sounds like they found some leftover riffs on a guitar pro file and went straight to the studio.

10 years ago I'd be smacking my dick underneath the table but meh, I'm kinda over this sound.

Deafheaven's entire career happened in between their last album and this.

this is good, but it does feel like 5 years too late
expecting a 3 if this album ever sees the light of day

By no means is this a terrible song, but it definitely isn't great either. I'll still check out whatever their next release is but I'm definitely lowering my expectations after this.

Production sounds kinda cool, vocals are stellar, but yeah this is hardly a song... Cool parts but just no songwriting involved whatsoever it seems... Quite a fan of the outro though

yeah it's been a decade - reserving judgement on what the album is going to sound like.

Dude it's gonna sound just like this song. They basically do this one gimmick, and that's about it.

Yah literally all of their songs are the same. Omnislash was cool though back in the day and they have some demos from around that time that are pretty sick too but sound nothing like their recent stuff.
