best since Continent, the doom influence has matured beautifully for them
| |
band says this is more of an EP and they have a normal full-length dropping on Rise next year
| |
oh shit thats awesome
| |
Gave this some listens. Pretty solid.
| |
I haven't liked anything else I've heard from this bad. But damn this is great
| |
I kept hearing bad things about this band but damn this shit bangs.
"Sin" kinda reminds me of Zao's last record
| |
I haven't enjoyed anything this band has put out since like 2010, but god damn is this good.
| |
this is... surprisingly pretty decent
| |
Shit actually rules
| |
post metal acacia strain is very listenable.
| |
"The album is rumored to be releasing a second album sometime in 2020 as well."
damn technology has advanced to make itself
| |
Thanks relinquished for catching my mistake lol.
| |

"by "doom influence" i'm guessing that means the drywall punching DJUNNNS are just slower now?"
black tongue
| |
that band suxxx
| |
nadir is incredible thank you
| |
Idk about this 'doom metal influence.' This just sounds like TAS doing metalcore instead of deathcore, for better or worse.
| |
This owns. It is more of a post metal influence rather than doom I think but it benefits their sound very well.
| |
For better or for worse this still sounds like Acacia Strain, but I do appreciate hearing a release from them that's not safe, monotonous, dull deathcore. "Not bad" from me is basically praise at this point for these guys. I might actually listen to this again later. Not bad!
| |
"by "doom influence" i'm guessing that means the drywall punching DJUNNNS are just slower now?"
lmao
| |
yeah tbh didn't hear any doom influence but to each their own.
it's still Kylecore neanderthal metal but this was far more acceptable than other stuff I've heard
| |
"Kylecore neanderthal metal"
LMAO
| |
band is fantastic yea agreed
| |
why do I like this? someone pinch me
| |
always dig me some acacia. will check
| |
Best thing they have dropped on a long time . This is so fucking solid. The doom elements really do a lot for there sound.
| |
I wouldn't expect anyone who listens to this band to actually know what doom metal sounds like.
| |
I listen to this band and also know what doom metal is
| |
That is an impossibility friend-o, as declared by sputnikmusic.com user get low
