After a long time of teasing, the day is upon us. The second half of this year is rapidly becoming stacked. In the realm of metal, I'm looking forward to these guys, WRVTH, and then Insomnium, all of which will be releasing quite soon--sooner than you think.
And who knows what the underground might bring in the meantime?

probably the only record this year im excited for
| |
I will definitely check this when it drops, liked their last full length. The whole jazz influence in heavy music is verrrrrrry hit or miss for me but I’ll give it a shot
| |
This is definitely an album to look forward to for anyone that gives a damn about heavy music. The fact that these guys have yet to blow up is kind of crazy considering how amazing The Sanity Universal was.
| |
Metalcore heavyweight?
| |
Mhmm. They kick ass harder than most.
| |
I'll stick it firmly on the maybe pile, trending 'yes' but might be time dependent given when it's being released. Sounds interesting anyway.
| |
I mean, "great sounding band" seems more appropriate than the exaggerated "heavyweight"
| |
I'd recommend making time for this one, it'll be worth discussing.
@Nocte it's not an exaggeration if it's true ;)
| |
Okay.
| |
Can’t decide if I’m more excited for this or WRVTH
| |
Well, one is coming much sooner!
| |
I was going to dismiss this as one of those stupid plurals progcore bands (Volumes and the like), but this actually sounds pretty nice!
| |
That would’ve been very dumb of you because their previous album is one of the best metalcore albums this decade
| |
lol bands just dont play this type of metalcore anymore
so stoked
| |
I legit think this year is one of the most stacked in music in a long time
| |

Yeah, I know. Definitely checking that out.
| |
these guys are fucking massive
stoked for this
| |
AOTY incoming
| |
Survey says: Yes.
| |
i'm just waiting to bust out the hyperbolic review
| |
The real question shouldn't be whether we can have incremental ratings, but rather if we can award a 6/5.
| |
Thank you lord and savior Adam Thomas for informing me of this band back when he dropped a review for The Sanity Universal

Holy hell, this rips.
| |
Song is solid
| |
And here I thought this year was gonna be dry of solid metalcore albums.
Single rips me to tears. ALL HAIL.
| |
There have been excellent metalcore albums this year, but this will definitely be the first to make a case for year-end lists.
| |
Fucking hyped
| |
It’s really amazing how effortlessly the track ebbs and flows between brutal and melodic all while maintaining that spacey atmosphere
Could this possibly top The Sanity Universal???
| |
YESSSSSSSSSSSS
