I know this is technically terrible, but they’ve hit home with the nostalgic sound; it’s like I’m straight back in 2001 again and I kinda love it haha

You know it's bad when you guess the main chord progression after 2 seconds.

Not gonna listen to this shit, but Wes’ only hope to stay alive is of this band continues. Even though he seems like an asshole, dude is way too young to die.

"but they’ve hit home with the nostalgic sound; it’s like I’m straight back in 2001 again and I kinda love it haha"

I absolutely get how this could work as a fist-pumpy singalong hit even though it feels like a rock song with all of its energy psychically leeched out of it. Ah, the magic of generic 4-chord radio rock.
