Infant Annihilator have announced their 3rd album The Battle of Yaldabaoth will be released on September 11th, featuring a more tech-death and symphonic-inspired sound.

Album art alone tells me there will be some sort of coherency to this project rather than them trying to be as extreme as possible for the sake of being br00tal.

album art is cool. let's hope the album will be as well. Honestly I've always listened to this band more fore the memes than for the music until now, and never made it to the end of a full-length by them

Cool, if they tried to write some actual music on this one this may actually be awesome. Talented guys but their lyrics and completely over the top style prevent me from enjoying them for more than 2 minutes at a time.

I honestly don't understand why people would look for anything less than something fucking disgusting from a band called Infant Annihilator. It's like expecting Cannibal Corpse to stop writing about horrible shit and start writing about Nietzsche or the environment.

One could argue that the name alone is all the shock value needed in that particular area. If they want to be gross that's whatever, but they're not obligated to write songs about brutalizing infants just because of their name. This album looks like it has some sort of unholy war as the backdrop and I'm sure they could write plenty of disturbing lyrics about what happens in battle, and maybe they will, but they're still leaning on the infant thing and frankly I think that's in poor taste. I personally draw a line there, other people don't and that's fine, but I think it's weak on the band's part.

I expected something a little bit different but the snippet sounds like old infant
