Arch/Matheos return with 2nd LP

Progressive metal legends Jim Matheos and John Arch, formerly of Fates Warning, have teamed up for their second album under the Arch/Matheos moniker.

Winter Ethereal is coming May 10, 2019 on Metal Blade Records. Pre-orders are up now at http://www.metalblade.com/archmatheos

In commenting on the record, Arch asserted, "Sometimes after being away from something for a while and having life experiences to draw from, you feel you have something to say or offer. Music has always been the best medium for me to express what sometimes words alone cannot, and the timing for this record was just right."

The duo have also shared "Straight and Narrow", which you can stream below:

Song is a total banger. Also, that lineup. My original news article post was a lot longer. It needed to be redacted for sure, thanks team

Don’t know how Jim Matheos does it. One of the greatest musicians of our time people.

@Voivod yes Steve Di Giorgio is on this

Song is sick. Really liked LP1, looking forward the album. Crazy how consistent Arch's voice has been over the years.

He's also using three drummers on the album. Bobby Jarzombek, Mark Zonder, and Thomas Lang. Also Sean Malone, Joey Vera AND Steve on it.
