Bloody hell, they've changed...
I mean, the last album of theirs I heard was 'Fools and Worthless Liars' (which I quite liked at the time for what it was), but this sounds like typical Radio 1 Pop Rock (with more emphasis on the Pop) fodder

now that is some terrible art
| |
Wow, it doesn't even sound like them anymore.
| |
When I'm home I'll listen but holy shit that album art sucks
| |
Boring. I get the feeling they're trying to sound like The 1975. Used to like these guys tho.
| |
Its not terrible. My positive stance towards his vocals keeps me from disliking this. Definitely poppier tho
| |
Thought this was deafheaven lmao
| |
Not too bad. A little too pop rock for my liking. I'll still give the album a chance.
| |
nah too sanitised
| |
Really dig it. Surprised how well they pulled off this sound honestly.
| |
I can get on board with this kind of sound for them... Interested to hear the rest of the album
| |
Mayor fan of Deaf Havana and I am quite liking this change of sound :-). Feels like it fits them pretty good!
| |
He confirmed in an interview that this isn't even the poppiest song of the record...kinad worried but after reading it I can at least comprehend and appreciate what they're going for.
| |
Maybe I'm forgetting some other artists, but it seems to me like these guys have had some of the most dramatic sound changes since their inception....from the post hardcore debut, to folk rock, and adding more indie and pop influence since, the album sounds give me whiplash
| |
snide shaved his head
| |
this sounds like a disney child star grew up and started making mediocre pop music
| |
YOU'LL NEEEEEEEEVER KNOOOOOW, FRIIIIIIIIENDS LIKE THEEEEEEESE
