This is probably the worst video I’ve ever seen.
| |
Ah, we meet again, floating head
| |
is the song good tho
| |
@thespirit not really
| |
dang
| |
Hope the song is good *crosses fingers*
| |
Song fuckin crushes imo, I like it a lot
| |
plz plz plz don't be ass...
| |
lmao that video is retarded, song wasnt bad though. not great either.
| |
Song is sick, and Winston has stepped it up again. Easily best vocalist in the scene imo.
| |
Video is laughable, but song is pretty decent. Not big on the intro, but the rest of it is sweet.
| |
Ok. I'm clicking play guys. Wish me luck.
| |
Not bad
| |
Vid sucks. Song sucks. Band needs to call it quits.
| |
Going for that arena rock sound I see.
| |
Woah. That didn't suck. I'm just not sure why they thought putting Winstons square ass floating head in the whole video was a good idea tho.
| |
"Song is sick, and Winston has stepped it up again. Easily best vocalist in the scene imo."
no, he isn't.
| |
Band is dead
| |
'no, he isn't. '
Go on then, who is?
| |
Ah, we meet again, floating head [2]
| |
Song rules.
| |
@groundking Garrison Lee
| |
Somewhere Seth Rollins is happy
| |
"Somewhere Seth Rollins is happy"
lmao nice. I smell a WM victory??
| |
Remember when this band was happy energetic metalcore..
| |
@itsyaboicobby, nop, great, but not Winston
@Tijnmans, Happy? Really?
| |
I’m just cranky because there was supposed to be a new Erra song this month and it’s not out yet
| |
Garrison shits on Winston tbh
| |
"Go on then, who is?"
Jacob Bannon, Keith Buckley, Greg Puciato, Jeffery Moriera, etc. I don't know exactly if they have to be bands currently still going but when it comes to metalcore as a whole plenty of vocalists are a lot better then him. Still a good vocalist but best in the genre is not even close.
| |
The song and video is pretty bad too
| |
Not a fan of the video, and the intro and other talking bits were bad, but that song was pretty decent
| |
It also doesn’t help that Winston isn’t a great lyricist
| |
it's a unique direction but not necessarily a good one
| |
They still can't top It's Hard To Speak Without A Tongue smh
| |
Its starting to look like they wont even be able to top Deep Blue
| |
that was not good
| |
that was worse than I expected for not having listened to them in years. gonna jam some Killing with a Smile to clean my ears
| |
song isn't bad, but yeah, it's not showing any signs of topping previous efforts
| |
this video omg
| |
@Fear, Jacob Bannon, nope, but then I might be biased as I've just never ever 'got' Converge, and trust me I've tried. Yeah Buckley and Puciato are amazing yeah, but Winston has more power behind him IMO. Re; Moriera, TBF I've never listened to Poison the Well, so can't comment, but he's not making music or touring anymore is he (nor is Puciato thinking about it), so neither really count do they ;)
| |
Garrison Lee was easily the best vocalist in the genre imo
| |
Vid sucks. Song sucks. Band needs to call it quits. [2]
| |
Winston doesn't have half the energy of Buckley or Puciato.......HERESY I SAY!!!!!!
| |
wtf happened to this band? plz someone stop them!
| |
Jesus christ the guitar is awful
| |
yeah expected this to be generic but kinda fun like usual parkway drive. was wrong, this was the worst metal song ive heard since quite some time
| |
If ya don't like it, you can go get crushed by the fist of God
| |
This is probably going to split opinion but this was okay. The spoken word was cringe
| |
@NocteDominum That's pretty much exactly it
| |
Sorely lacking the speed, hooks, and heaviness that once made Parkway Drive exciting.
Video is also awful.
| |
I am incredibly uncomfortable.
| |
Jesus that video is very unneeded. The songs okay, better than most of the stuff on Ire.
| |
Not a fan, but this band has never done anything for me.
That video...
I am incredibly uncomfortable. [2]
| |
vintage parkway drive 3.5/5
| |
Huh, I actually really enjoyed the song itself. Video is shit but I'm not surprised by that. And while Winston may not be the BEST vocalist in the scene, he's pretty fucking good. Those are some thick lows. Instrumentally it's just okay but it's miles ahead of Ire. Kinda getting Slipknot vibes off of some parts of this.
| |
song is better than anything on ire. theres really no need for the talking at the beginning. worst video clip i think ive ever seen.
| |
How did all of them think that wah pedal in the background sounded good
| |
bad vid, bad song
| |
The wah sounds dope imo, like a 90s throwback. You never hear wah used that way in metalcore today.
The real question is how did all of them think the video was good lol
| |
Sounds like a Parkway Drive song I guess. I miss KWAS and Horizons.
| |
Song is actually solid
| |
'no, he isn't. '
Go on then, who is?"
The lead singer of Assemble The Chariots lol
Shit, the guitarist is way more advanced too lol
| |
I actually kinda like the song and video. At least half of it anyway. Didnt like it enough to watch/listen to the whole thing
| |
Damn the vocals in this are incredible. The band are also headed into a interesting direction instrumentally. I suspect the video is clouding a lot of judgements.
| |
End of the song is lit tbh
| |
The track's the very definition of underwhelming. They've been going downhill ever since Ire came out, what's up with all this pseudo arena rock stuff.
| |
Been listening to this song more than the new Underoath one tbh. 3 times vs 2 times!
| |
Besides the talking bits I actually enjoyed this. Winston has really stepped up and sounds more savage than he has since Horizons
| |
I can do without the spoken word parts, and the cringey video. The song is alright other than that. It's at least better than what I remember from Ire.
| |
I just want him to cut the talking bits, shit is so bad
| |
Pretty decent but kinda weird
| |
eh it's reyt. Stronger than a lot of the shit on Ire anyway.
Video's a whole lot of nothing.
| |
Band is as good as dead
| |
Not sure what to think about this.
| |
What did you think of Winston's head?
| |
staring at his fuckin massive head is not my thing
| |
to be fair this was a pretty good song
| |
Winston sounds massive but I really don't have anything to say about the song.
Really middle of the road stuff.
| |
trash. band needs to stop now
| |
Bad song. Need to bring those crushing breakdowns back. RIP
| |
decent track
| |
Album is gonna be a big fat 2.8
| |
A big fat 2.8 is a lot better than Ire was at least
| |
I'm thinking 3.5 at least lol
| |
3.0 at most.
| |
3.1
| |
3.05
| |
Yeah I think I 1'd Ire so this is a step up
| |
Ire was a mean 1.5 to me
| |
Pretty average song by a band that has become painfully average.
| |
I really liked Ire, this is pretty decent as well
| |
video actually made me laugh
song is ok
| |
Song is garbage. It's like if Shadows Fall did a cover of a Rob Zombie cover of a Korn cover of a Metallica song.
| |
Song's pretty solid tbh. Hope no fundamentalists think this is anti-religion or something.
| |
This video/song is the best thing Parkway Drive has ever done. If you say otherwise, you're wrong. I thought they were rather mediocre for most of their career, however this song is a massive step up from everything else they've done.
| |
lmao
| |
ok...
| |
