Cool song. I really like how they are utilizing Jim a lot more now. Dudes got some pipes.
Although I hate to say it kinda reminds me of BMTH

Yeah this is pretty damn good. Excellent balance of heaviness and melody.
Agreed that it is very BMTH esque. Might be the new trend...
|
| |
Bands have been on the BMTH trend since Sempiternal came out, I doubt it's gonna stop for a while. That being said, this song rules.
|
| |
Not feeling it, not hearing anything that tells me “hey this is For The Fallen Dreams”. It just sounds like a lot of current metalcore trends, which i guess is just a bit more emphasis on clean vocals and a semi atmospheric intro and break near the end. If I didn’t see the name at the top of the article, Id probably write this off some new genericore band.
Also the clean vocals are super bland so that doesn’t help.
|
| |
ehh its alright, is it just me though or are the vocals mixed super quiet? sounds messy
also am i the only one who likes back burner? average is lower than i expected, used to dig that album hard in secondary school
|
| |
Back Burner's actually pretty fun but it's been a while since I jammed it this band's only bad album is Wasted Youth.
|
| |
Back Burner is my favorite album of theirs tbh, and I like Dylan a lot more than Chad. I do like this song a lot tho
|
| |
I forgot this band existed tbh. I can see why people say this sounds like BMTH.
|
| |
I'm too old for this shit now. I liked Changes a lot when I was in high school. Relentless was a downturn in my opinion. I haven't been into this type of music since then. It's amusing seeing bands I listened to in high school still pumping out tunes. "Oh shit, Oceano is still a thing?" There's a new wave of insecure teenagers for this to feed. They need the emotional outlet.
|
| |
The screams are awful. Not saying he's a bad vocalist but the production makes it sound so distorted. And yeah, there is a strong semptimernal vibe. Also, they had much better cleans on Back Burner. Which surprisingly, I really enjoyed that album.
|
| |
I really only jam to one song by them now and days..
WHERE WERE YOU
WHEN I NEEDED YOU
|
| |
Listening to Back Burner now. It's a killer album, I don't care what ya'll think.
First 2 tracks are excellent. Track 3 is terrible. Track 4 is the best song on the album.
'The Big Empty' is amazing
I'VE DRIVEN DOWN THIS ROAD! A THOUSAND TIMES BEFORE!
Rest of the album kinda sucks..
|
| |
Amnesia off the last album was a killer, I am glad this new song sounds a bit like that one
|
| |
"Rest of the album kinda sucks.."
You mean the vastly superior second half?
The Big Empty is their best song fight me
|

FUCK YOU, STEAK lmao
|
| |
I love the whole album tbh lmao, I was just teasin
|
| |
New album is gonna be sweeeeeettt.
After seeing the tracklist I hope and pray that "10 Years" is gonna be a throwback to Changes.
|
| |
They should feature Dylan on a track
|
| |
I'm teasing too, Steak. Out of all their albums, Backburner is my favorite. Even though, most people didn't enjoy it. I just like the fun songs on that album like The Big Empty, and the opening tracks
IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD (insert massive breakdown)
|
| |
Backburner is overhated. The songs aren't bad I just can't vibe with its production at all
|
| |
so For The Fallen Dreams is just LGND now?
|
| |
also chad's vocal production sucks on this and LGND, not sure why he's going for that sound
|
| |
Basically my boi, but did you like the song?
|
| |
decided to go back and jam back burner out of nostalgia, deep down inside still goes as hard as it did when it came out, that chorus tho
|
| |
All the waiting for that. Wow
