Song isn't great on first listen. This band always has a few killer tracks on their albums though so I'm hoping this one's just a dud.

These guys always have a few cool tracks but then they have a few duds as well

There's usually 2 or 3 redeeming songs per album, most of their stuff is pretty boring. Nothing they make will ever be better than Infamy.

Guilty pleasure band, but pretty mediocre considering the talent and potential they have. They put on a good live show when I saw them though.

Ezprog for 18 year olds who think they're cooler than Asking Alexandria fans for liking Born of Osiris and single-noun-plural djent bands

This is total crap, it's even more dumbed down than what they were doing before.

Not to mention the instruments sound quanitzed as fuck.

Can't stand the vocals of this band besides "Creature". I kind of wish they were just an instrumental band.

That said, "Enigma" is one of my favorite songs ever.

I saw them live in 2012, they were adequate. I remember the one guitarist had a bass drop pedal lol

I thought they were pretty good when I saw them. If I remember right the vocalist gassed a bit toward the end.

"doesn't the drummer usually handle bass drops?"

Maybe now he does, but when I saw them live during soundcheck I saw the guitarist stomp on a pedal and you could hear the boom

Thats kinda the point of this band though right? They have always gone waaayyy over the top when it comes to making their tracks sound pretty much fake as hell.

Finally listened to this. It sucked.

'They have always gone waaayyy over the top when it comes to making their tracks sound pretty much fake as hell.'

Idk, I think that mostly started after Invade, but it's been so long since I heard that album that I could be wrong. Creature sounded way less polished too, no?

Yeah for sure, Creature sounded much more natural. Maybe they didn't have the studio tools at the time, otherwise it would probably sound super polished as well.
