Pendulum Return to Ultra Fest

2016-02-20 by unaMUSEd | 9 Comments
Australian drum and bass group Pendulum have announced via their Facebook that they will return to headline Ultra Music Festival in Miami. This is set to be the group's first show as a full band since 2011. The set will also be accompanied by songs from Knife Party, the current project of Pendulum's Rob Swire and Gareth McGriillen.

It is unknown whether there is any new music in the works for the band, or if this performance will simply be a one-off.

This sounds great except the Knife Party thing; just stop playing that...

A new album would get me insanely hyped but it probably won't happen.

Dnb is getting big again so I guess it's time for a reunion.

I can't remember where I saw that but someone said on sputnik after the release of Immersion and the band disbanding, "baaah, they'll come back in ten years for a reunion." It made me laugh at the time how much that person didn't take the splitting serieously. Well. Ok. Five years.

Knife party isn't going anywhere anytime soon. They're getting $200k+ to play a 90 minute festival set and are hugely popular in the electronic music scene.

its a shame, too, because Knife Party is one of the worst "EDM" artists to ever exist.
