Lychgate premiere new song

2015-02-13 by BloodMusic | 1 Comments
Academic, apocalyptic black metal unit Lychgate have premiered a new track, 'Letter XIX', which you can view below:

'Letter XIX' is the fifth track off the band's sophomore album, An Antidote for the Glass Pill, which will see a release through Finnish/USA label Blood Music in early 2015.

An Antidote for the Glass Pill is the ceremonial, liturgical brother of Esoteric and features Greg Chandler (Esoteric's frontman and founding member) on guitar, vocals, and engineering duties. The record is also perhaps the only black metal album in history that features full accompaniment by a professional church pipe organist throughout.

I wanted more from this band considering it also features former Lunar Aurora alumni. It's not bad, certainly unique, but it just fails to click with me in any meaningful way.
