Aaron Pauley
| |
It's not bad, but I know they're capable of way better.
| |
It's not terrible, but it's really boring. Austin doesn't really sound that great here and it's instrumentally bland.
| |
even worse than their first album and we thought that was not possible
| |
it's not bad but it's totally forgettable. there's nothing about it at all that stands out in any way
| |
The lyrics are pretty awful, overall it's stale
| |
disappointing
| |
Ehh, It's pretty stale but it's not like it's chug galore and jun breakdown.. #itcouldbeworse
| |
Yeah this is pretty bland
| |
I'm satisfied. I like Aaron Pauley's voice in this band, it's been a year since we knew how he would sound with them and now we know. I like it. And NO it's not as bad as their debut!
| |
"Don't let the world bring you downnnnnn" Come on, only Brandon Boyd can sing a line that clichéd so powerfully.
| |
Where are the riffs
| |
@igutter
this is probably worse than anything on their debut imo
| |
Disappointed me

Aaron Pauley [2]
| |
The breakdown was stupid and the lyrics were pretty bad. I like the new cleans though, and the song overall was decent.
| |
Terrible. Some of those lyrics were really squeezed into their lines and it ruins any flow the song could have.
| |
This doesn't sound like the same band that Wrote The Flood. Don't really give a damn about these guys anyway.
| |
It was different, but it wasn't necessarily horrible. I'll wait to hear a few more tracks before I decide if the album is worth a full-listen/investment.
| |
Really catchy, good song to jam to casually.
| |
Tino's role as amazing drummer on 'The Flood' isn't that apparent here. :L
| |
Listening to songs like this makes this whole writing music thing seem really easy.
Maybe I should try it for real.
| |
Decent song.
| |
About as interesting as a saltine cracker.
| |
Boring as fuck.
| |
ugh
| |
I was expecting way more.
Boring.
Austins vocals are weak too.
| |
Not dissappointed. Expected shit. Got Shit.
| |
Austins screams are weak too. [2]
and Aaron got like 2 lines of a chorus...
song is super boring and easily the worst they've written so far.
awgawd and the lyrics are not even worth mentioning
the flood was pretty cool, gonna skip this one though
| |
bland as hell. aaron pauley doesn't even sound good here, especially not with shit lyrics like that.
| |
well... that was terrible
| |
Serious lack of riffs and energy. Band has never had great lyrics, but whatevs.
| |
I really hope the rest of the album is better
| |
I like Aaron as a vocalist, still wish he had finished what he was working on with Jamie's Elsewhere.
This was kinda ehhhh. If they had replaced the cliched breakdowns with something atmospheric, or some better riffing than 'jun jun jun' they may have had something.
| |
That was extremely disappointing but I guess I saw it coming. The tracks released after the flood were poor and their live performance has even lost its energy. I've seen them 3 times now and each time they have been progressively more boring.
| |
weaksauce.
| |
I just read that they want to make a nu-metal/hard rock album instead of a metalcore album. Bahaha. Whole thing will suck ass. Whatever I wasn't expecting anything good from these guys.
| |
Where?
| |
Trying to be more mature with boring results, terrible cliche lyrics. Hope the rest is better
| |
lame af
| |
I'd say "The Flood" had some jam worthy tracks. This is just generic, there's to much music out there to waste your time on this.
| |
EHHHHHHH
| |
Sick imo. I'm looking forward to the nu-metal approach, given that good nu-metal is better than most metalcore imo.
| |
this was awful. shayley was the only thing this band had going for them...
| |
A little boring, could be a lot better.
| |
wow this song sucks
| |
No I'm pretty sure I'm alone right now.
Unless...
| |
you're never alone ;)
| |
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
| |
Win, I'm right behind you :3
