Cool album art! I listened to the first half and it was pretty impressive. Probably will never listen
to these guys again though.

haven't listened to these suckaz in years

Sweet band. Will listen

I swear this has been on Spotify for ages

While I acknowledge the ever increasing impact of music services such as Spotify nowadays, that site -just as any other site for that matter- is not the alpha and the omega, when it comes to music dissemination. There are a lot of people outside the States, Canada etc with no access to services such as Spotify, either by conviction or due to sites' current policy towards certain countries, so album stream links such as that for Darkane, serve right for them.
Plus, it is impossible for all fans to get themselves acquainted with a certain album through a single album stream, so some bands and labels tend to post different links -in bandcamp, bandcamp-like and music webzines- in different temporal periods, so as for different waves of people to collide onto their work.
Lastly, I just googled "Darkane the sinister supremacy spotify" and I got "Sorry, this content is not available"
It's August 16 2013, I want to listen to the new Darkane album -I reckon that some people would be interested as well in listening to it- and I have the current link and the defunct Spotify one. What would anyone do in my place?
The question is rhetorical, of course.

Fair enough bro. I'm glad that it's being streamed more generally, given your point.
|
| |
I own Expanding Sense cause it was given to me and it's just downright terrible. I bet they haven't changed at all.
|
| |
I'm really not aware of the band's past work, but I listened to The Sinister Supremacy 4-5 times, currently it's between a 3-3.5 for me, really solid modern thrash.

Anyone not familiar with this bands work needs to get Rusted Angel and Layer of Lies. Killer records
And holy shit, I had no idea the original vocalist was back
|
| |
Yesss, Rusted Angel part 2. Great return to form. Expanding Senses and Insanity were both low points in my book. Layers of Lies is one hell of a record
