Florida-based hard rock group Alter Bridge has released details of their upcoming fourth album, Fortress. The album will be released October 8th and will be produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette.
Tremonti opened up about the recording process, saying, “When we started pre-production on this album, we pushed ourselves harder and further than we ever have previously in order to make the most out of every individual arrangement.” He continued, “We wanted this album to be our most unpredictable and exciting one yet. From the early feedback we have received, it looks like we have achieved what we set out to do".
After Fortress is released, Alter Bridge will embark on a European tour following one U.S. tour date.

I hope it tops ABIII, but it'll take some voodoo magic to reach Blackbird heights. I believe in them though.
I also like how they've consistently put out an album every 3 years.
