I'm legitimately excited for this one. Didn't like Hypersleep too much, but these guys always are at least an interesting listen.

I hope this isn't the same as the past two albums and they get back to being heavy again.

This will probably be a lot like Hypersleep was, only I hope there isn't that annoying "look how heavy we can be" section like there was in Augment of Rebirth. But after this, I seriously hope they change it up a bit. The sound they have now is getting tiring.

Hopefully this release will be something different. I loved their current sound for awhile but at this point I don't think I can handle any more of it.

btbam will always have a place in my heart so i'm pumped. lunar wilderness was great so if they move further into that kind of sound, i think it could be rehl good. hope they tone down the song lengths though. it seems like every album now, they're like "look how long we can make the last song." chill with that shit. alaska/silent circus song lengths would be preferable, but just by the title of the album i'm guessing they're going 10+ minute songs again...

All I can say about this is that the album art isn't horrible. I'm not expecting much else.

was the last Paralax ep any good? i gave up on this band after Misdirect, but Colors is still fun every once n a while.

It's less all-over-the-place than Misdirect, but aside from that it's exactly what they've been doing.

Parallax was good. Falls somewhere in the middle of their work quality wise.

Woop! Seeing these with Periphery in October, this news just bumped my excitement. Hopefully hear some new material.

I agree that Great Misdirect is their best. I remember liking parallax 1, but for some reason I haven't listened to it in a long long time. Gonna have to check that out again before October. Count me amongst the excited folks.

True that man I love his falsetto as well. I've seen them a few times, but I saw them this past november and they played mirrors. Well, he just sang the normal part, but I went for the falsetto harmony. I sounded like a huge douche. I was filming on phone, had to delete the video bc I ruined it.

They really went the right direction with the first Parallax so this should be pretty good.

i'm not gonna just say "oh i'm gonna like this!" and then i'm just gonna magically like it once it comes out. I'm gonna be excited for it, listen to it, and then hopefully its good. If its not good, its not good. No optimism/pessimism is gonna change that.

After watching that 10 minute video of Telos I'm pretty pumped for this, I really like that sweet King Crimson mid section and it seems like they're back to being as heavy as they used to be cause the rest crushes skull.
