This is very good news. I'm sure it will be top-notch, even without Lopez. Can't wait to hear some stuff from his side project too. Anyone know anything about that?
|
| |
The side project better be a continuation of Sorskogen, but not likely.
Rumour has it it's a collaboration between Steven Wilson and Portnoy, but it's probably just something with Dan Swano.
|
| |
Sweet, can't wait to hear it.
|
| |
Hell yeah!
|
| |
They were fucking awesome when I saw them live last year. Their new album is already on my album of the year list, whenever it comes out hahaha!
|
| |
Awesome! This is great news.
|
| |
I'm semi-interested in the project with Wilson and Portnoy. I have the song Cut Ribbon that they released a while ago and it's not bad, though very light and bluesy.
I'm more than ready for new Opeth.
|
| |
Intense. Can't wait for this.
|
| |
Hooray!
|
| |
This will probably be amazing. The side project sounds pretty cool as well.
|
| |
Let's hope this will be better than Ghost Reveries.
|
| |
This made my day.
|
| |
yay! like YAY!
|
| |
I'm getting pumped.
But next time make sure you file this under the artist when you post the news article.
|
| |
Aye. I thought I did, but oh well. Sorry.
|
| |
You know this is gonna be awsome.

I'm afraid not. The Akerfeldt/Wilson project has not moved beyond the "talking" phase, and Cut Ribbon is actually an outtake from Porcupine Tree's In Absentia sessions, but the song is hardly light and bluesy. You've been duped.
|
| |
New drummer, hmmm.
I can't wait to listen to this. Especially if it's not a leak.
|
| |
I hope this record is out before the end of the year. If its anywhere as good Ghost Reveries itll be amazing. I really dont understand why some people hate GR.
|
| |
Me either, it was a great album. Ghost of Perdition is an awesome song.

Oh man.
I guess that's okay. At least now they can surprise me.

I wonder what Axenrot's going to bring to the table.
