Fiancee was a decent album, few good tracks here and there. This album deffently tops it. You can hear the aggression in Scogin's voice and seems to stand out more. Really good album, just too many outerludes

ive only heard the first track so far, but it was pretty sick, and the ending was awesome.

Is it worth reviewing?

I used to stomp to the chariot, even got my nose broke at one of their shows. I think I even enjoyed having my nose broke, but I'm not so sure that i will enjoy this. I think my taste in music has oscillated to the next level. I suppose I'll spin it once though.

Yea they are but I do think they are taking things a bit of a step further. Honestly it just feels like a natural progression for them. Basically taking The Fiancee and jacking it up-so everything is a bit more chaotic/crushing/intense/TheChariot etc. Also note that "Abandon" is for the most part like bizarrely minimal and spaced out. Which is odd when I think about it but from what I heard they pulled it of surprisingly well.

I only listened to it once so far but i'll listen again....and might review this. Looking around a 3.5ish now.

Meh, I've always liked Norma Jean better but I'll give this a spin

It requires no brains to listen too and for that reason I kind of find it intriguing. I still don't think that the new lineup is half as good talent/stage presence wise as the original. And the debut CD had some really good vocal spots.

so far the cd seems to be vocal-centric, and also has some nice vocal spots. You are right though this is just basically pure anger recorded by a couple guys beatin shit with their instruments. not much thought put into it, not much needed though
