well that confirmed all my greatest fears. as someone who really liked Catch Without Arms, let me
just say that that was fucking awful.
It makes me wish I was a banger
I'd come and retaliate
I tend to avoid impulsive gangster attitudes
Cause they will blind you

Possible if you could put the link on one line? I would like to copy and paste but it only gets a portion of it...
|
| |
its too long to fit on one line so the site splits it.
|
| |
wasn't bad, just terribly generic
|
| |
I second Matt's comment. This doesn't even sound like the same band who put out El Cielo...This Message Edited On 03.20.09

Wow wtf...
|
| |
Sigh... Shit. That was repulsive.
|
| |
Lyrics are worse than expected. The song isn't that good, but its still pretty catchy.
|
| |
Heard this one live
|
| |
r.i.p. dredg
|
| |
heard this live too it was awful.
|
| |
song is terrible
|
| |
well i'll just act like they broke up after catch without arms
|
| |
hey still awful thats a surprise
|
| |
no chan i'm pretty sure it's just you.
i want this to be deleted so i never have to think about it again.
|
| |
Your fanboyism is showing, chan.
|
| |
puked
this was so bad live... im glad they played most of el cielo; at least they still realize what people going to see them are expecting.
|
| |
Well as someone who has never really enjoyed dredg all that much, I though it was terrible.
|
| |
I thought this was pretty good tbh. Voice sounds a bit more nasal than usual which was annoying though.
|
| |
his voice isn't meant for cock rock
|
| |
ugh never liked this band
|
| |
ah i was dreading this would happen. El Cielo was good but I think Leitmotif was even better (so underrated)
gah what happened?
|
| |
bad song is bad
|
| |
idk how i feel about this
|
| |
2/5
|
| |
Its kind of generic but its not that bad at all. I think people are over exaggerating this, it was better than that other song the posted
|
| |
what pebster said. and i'll reserve judgment until the album is released because i love this band
|
| |
no quite bad
in my opinion
|
| |
in fact more bad than generic
|
| |
I decree this song to be "Badneric"
|
| |
It's a shame their vocalist is such a fucking moron. Why can't he just shut-up?
|
| |
because he has a really awesome voice you dunce.
|
| |
song is not good. heres to hoping the rest of the album is at least somewhat better. if not, im happy with El Cielo
|
| |
song is weirder then it is generic and more retarded then it is weird.
|
| |
Bloody Hell, thats borderline cock rock. Me no likey.
|
| |
The production is terrible, I can't imagine how they're satisfied with this. I've liked all three of their albums so far, but I have little hope for this.
|
| |
oh how the great have fallen
|
| |
3 times as long as it should be, but good.
|
| |
It's average, and I'm right.
|
| |
I wanna cry.
|
| |
song sux
|
| |
Well that was...disappointing...
|
| |
i heard that dredg is going to start touring with nickleback. confirm/deny?
|
| |
:'( 2 songs, both terrible. This album isn't looking at all good. Really wanted to like it after Catch Without Arms being a bit meh.
|
| |
the chorus is good but the verse is too much like that shitty shiny toy guns/mindless self indulgence sound. effortless, stupid, uninspired and electronic crap.
really sad guys who made awesome rock went down like this
|
| |
The ace of spades!
|
| |
Horrifying.
Hello biggest disappointment of 2009.
|
| |
well, that sucked. I don't even like El Cielo all that much, but come on, these guys can do way better then this certainly?
|
| |
song gives me nightmares
|
| |
"Saviour" makes my ears bleed, but I thought "Waterborne" & "Ireland" are good
|
| |
Waterborne was actually a soundtrack that dredg did for an independent film by the same name. It's not an actual track.
|
| |
I dont really understand what the big deal is. The lyrics and vocals from this band have never been anything great. Barely even good. Music sounds good always though.

I'd enjoy it if you never posted here again.

ZooYorker - I am aware of the soundtrack, but one of their new songs is named "Waterborne" too

Predicting a 1.5 review from Greer if he even bothers listening to it.

First of all, I'm new here, hai gaiz. Now that that's out of the way, on to this...
So this is really disappointing. I love Dredg, and I have been looking forward to this. Have any of you seen their Leaflet videos? The stuff they were experimenting with in those videos almost made me confident that this would be a return to the experimental elements of El Cielo. I was wrong. This is bland and sad, although the music is pretty good and the chorus is catchy. I seriously hope this is the only track like this on the album, as they already confirmed a few of the songs we heard live aren't going on the album.

"ZooYorker - I am aware of the soundtrack, but one of their new songs is named "Waterborne" too"
I haven't seen that anywhere in any track listing for the new album.
