Possible Pavement Reunion?

2009-01-17 by Athom EMERITUS | 22 Comments
Pavement guitarist Scott Kannberg told Loud and Quiet magazine that a Pavement reunion might be on the horizon and that the Coachella festival has been courting the band's agent.
Quote:
"I don't see why not, you know, it could be a fun thing to do, go and play your favorite songs every night... 2009 would be our 20-year anniversary too, so that'd be a good time to do it, but I think that's too soon, it might have to be pushed back later. Coachella keep asking our booking agent but our booking agent's pretty strong. He's waiting for the right number, I think."

Cash grab, obviously.

Pavement reunion might be on the horizon because the Coachella festival has been courting the band's agent.
fixed... further proof:

The cycle is going to stay the way it is unless you actually do something about it, stating the obvious is just wasting time Willie. This Message Edited On 01.17.09

Either less, Stephen Malkmus' solo record last year was fantastic and critically revered. The kid's an idiot.

Actually I did. Outside of maybe 5 or 6 songs, they weren't good.

Both are worth 2.5/5 at best. But I mean if The Lemonheads and Jimmy Eat World are worth 5 then yeah so are Pavement I guess

As opposed to The Magic Numbers?
