And cue the pretentious bitching from the tr00 punxxxx who "made it possible for against me!" through all of their support throughout the years!
On a side note, I would totally go, but I am very very broke and can't afford a 50 dollar ticket. This Message Edited On 12.09.07

Depending on what day of the week this is and how much it costs, I might go to this.
| | | Eh I'd like to and might go, though it sucks they're an opening band and it's a stadium tour. I mostly liked who AM! was playing with on their past couple tours, the FF's are okay but I can't picture them with AM!. I probably won't even afford a ticket for this though.
There's more dates on AM!'s siteThis Message Edited On 12.09.07
| | | My friend has tickets to this and offered to take me, but I refused not knowing that Against me was going to be there > : (
| | | $50 tickets?
that's fucking gay
| | | they must come to my side of the channel.
Edit: ok so it's an ocean not a channelThis Message Edited On 12.09.07
| | | Ticket prices are generally gay. Cause ya know, all those CEO's and big shots need to make their cut (and a large one at that).
| | |
$50 tickets?
that's ****ing gay
It's a Foo Fighters arena tour. Enough said basically.
| | | What a year, Coheed and Against Me! opening stadium tours for Linking Park and The Foo respectively. Hahaha, I find this so amusing.
| | | These dont mix
| | | hmm, strange mix but id totally come see this.
| | | never thought this would happen haha but I would love to go to this show. seems a bit expensive though
| | |
$50 tickets?
that's ****ing gay
Try £50 tickets (far more expensive)
THat tour will rule for sure
| | | Foo Fighters and Against Me?!!
That's like eating a peanut butter (Foo Fighters) and shit (Against Me!) sandwich.
| | | Foo Fighters are touring for free at my school. I am probably not going to go though.
| | | ?????
| | | Foo Fighters toured with the Kaiser Chiefs a couple years ago. They seem to try to bring something a little different for their opening act.
| | | "Dance like no one was watching, with one fist in the air. Our arenas just actual arenas"
(Yes, I stole this post from Punknews)
| | | himslashher is probably the worst user I've seen recently.
And lexluthor would still be unoriginal even if he didn't steal that from punknews.
| | | Yaaarrggh. Oracle Arena Oakland?! Why?! Whyyyy?! So many wonderful places in California, but why there?
| | | Hmm i saw Against Me on their last UK headline tour and they were great as usual, but i cant imagine them playing in a big souless arena with a souless band like the Foos. It wouldnt be so bad if the Foo Fighters had actually made a good album since The Colour & The Shape. Anyone know if theyre coming to the UK on this?
| | | seems like a stadium price for a stadium concert. i don't get what all the fuss is about.
expensive for most yes, but if you have the money you definetly don't pay $50 for AM!
| | | weiiird. just a few years ago AM! played a 200-capacity venue by me. now arenas? i couldn't imagie that being a fun show. they just wouldn't sound right. it'd be like the Flaming Lips playing a basement. some bands just don't work with certain venue-types..
