Regardless of the questionable talent of Evanescence (I actually liked that Daredevil song), Amy Lee brought up something I'd been thinking about recently. Most good art comes from dark times. When we're happy we enjoy the happy, it's when we feel like crap that we are driven to painting, making music, writing, etc. Nothing revolutionary, but still kinda cool that Amy Lee brought it up, even if she was complaining.

If she can get the guy from Cold (Terry, I think his name is), who I consider to be one of the best "writers" in modern rock, to make terrible music, she's got talent.
