We are so back. Nightjar is a banger. Not sure how I feel about the other one.
Turnover and Citizen writing good music again makes me so happy
| |
Chat is Turnover back?
| |
Shoutout to them for not making us wait 4 months between album announcement and release.
Songs are pretty good. I was ready to give up on this band completely after the last lp but this might be alright.
| |
I actually really liked Myself In The Way. Altogether was the lowpoint.
| |
They might be back
| |
wish oltna were here to see this
| |
Nightjar is amazing, and the other one would be amazing if not for the Tigers Jaw style vocals. Something really off putting about his vocal delivery, but I don’t mind the lower register. Chat I’m stoked overall!!
PS - TERRIBLE album art wtf is that? But thank you for only 3 weeks between announcement and release yaaaayyyy
| |
I can hear nothing similar between the vocals of "I see" and Tigers Jaw.
| |
decent singles, might check the album
| |
album art is great idk what you're looking at
| |
should i check this or are they still making elevator music
| |
It’s better than anything since pv
| |
zac montez on a generational run right now
| |
Hoping this is a step in the right direction for them, Myself in the Way was terrible.
| |
Awful, will spin the record a few times so I can hate in an informed manner
| |
Yeah this does nothing. Night Jar sounds like filler and the low vocals in the other song are terrible.
| |
Woah I can like turnover again? These aren't bad!
| |
night jar is solid and the other is annoying
movements' new singles dunk on these
| |
I haven’t heard it but that’s kind of impossible because movements sucks ass
| |
You could say they suck butt.
Nah in all seriousness I'm genuinely offended by that take. Feel Something is one of the best emo albums ever made and the new songs are spectacular.
| |
I started getting a little tired of the whiny emo pop punk stuff around the time Movements was gaining prominence, and by that point it was practically impossible to get into whatever new bands the college house show scene was getting excited about. Sowwy. Would have been cool if I discovered them when I was 20
| |
They’re not terrible they’re just super not for me, and the vocal delivery doesn’t help. I am pretty surprised to see that album maintained a 4.1 here tbh
| |
had to be there. there wasn't much like it at the time and they caught lighting in a bottle
