Really boring, even for a Bad Omens song. I enjoyed the first half of The Death of Peace of Mind, but the back half was bloated and overwrought and ultimately fell flat compared to those initial moments. Song feels like it could have been in that back half too. Oof.

The song was fine, but the ending really did save it. Was expecting more of a 'gradual crescendo' kind of song where it would've gotten real heavy at the end (which would've been cool if done right), but the weird, swelling dark-synth break was unexpected but it worked

Don't really see the Sleep Token/BMTH-copycat allegations, Noah's vocals don't resemble that of Vessel or Oli and the songwriting just feels more like an extension of their previous albums. Song is good and the music video is stunning; should be a fun album.

Edit: It was not worth pausing, songs okay. Vocals are way too dramatic, ending breakdown ruins it. Song should have stayed in its lane and had a soft vulnerable ending rather than the way it ended.

Poppy is just a better version of this band. She has the exact same formula. Stale pop metal with oversimplified djent chug "riffs" 95% of the time, along with 5% of heavier songs to remind people she's "still metal to the core". But she's still WAYY better, trust me guys!!!
