Hell yeah
| |
Beautiful song. Just wish it was a bit longer...
| |
Yikes...I am NOT feeling this. Sounds like Fisher Price's My First Hardcore Song and Dvorbak's screams are grating imo.
| |
extremely boilerplate track
| |
holy shit that was awful lol
| |
no matter what kind of sound they go for, this band just always sounds so amateurish
| |
---Fisher Price's My First Hardcore Song---
Really want this to be a thing
| |
song started off okay then it started throwing in shit that just blends in like oil on water
also did someone get a 15 year old to write the lyrics
| |
Mega mid. Production doesn't quite fit the sound, and I feel like something different could have been done with the leads. The cleans were genuinely terrible, almost completely derailed the song despite only being there for like 5 seconds. I can totally get with the message though and I'm glad that more musicians are starting to speak up this way. Net positive.

---Fisher Price's My First Hardcore Song---
Turnstile already did it.
| |
Well, certainly not what I was expecting. Unfortunately, not really feeling this at all. Big bummer considering how much I loved their last album..
| |
Yuck
| |
just saw this was yet another shitty Putney prod job, yep the bargain bin hardcore factor couldn't be more real
| |
im so down with these screams, especially katie.
def not too big on this though, feels really underbaked. will go hard live doe
| |
Yeah this will probably do waaaaay better in a live setting.
| |
I guess I appreciate them trying something new, but hoping to not get a full album of this unless that full album is a bit more unique and TWIABP sounding than this
| |
The World is a darker place and I'm going to die
| |
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
| |
The vocals are fine imo but after the fantastic Illusory Walls this is not at all a direction I hope they go down. It's way too basic and safe...also a bit cringe lyrically
| |
needs more twinkle
| |
each passing release just further convinces me that this band died when david bullied nicole out of the band
| |
Saw them last week and they played this one live and its sooo much better live
| |
^ ok young neil
| |
Wow.
| |
Wow crazy miss for me. Songwriting and lyrics are lazy, screams are just ok, and David sounds horrible on this.
Kudos on trying something new I guess, but this has "cutting room floor" written all over it.
| |
didn't hate it but hopefully it'll be on an EP and they'll continue the trend of their EPs being ass and LPs (mostly) being amazing
| |
a full LP of this would actually be insufferable
| |
Guess they’re really living up to that “when our voices fail us we will find new ways to sing” line.
| |
Never listened to this band cuz their name sucks ass
| |
they only did one good album anyway. rip tom.
| |
hell yeah
| |
I'm standing on the precipice
| |
*edging*
| |
This was ass of the swampy variety
| |
some of the guitar leads remind me of that at the drive-in revival album.
| |
not in a good way though because that album wasn't very nice
| |
Terrible
| |
It's a cliff that I've prayed on before
| |
So are both vocalists bald?
| |
no but they're both nazi's
| |
Not what I was expecting at all, but it at least it is more interesting than that shit Rise Against put out recently. I don't really like it. But at least somebodies cared. Also I really only know their twinkly emo stuff from the earlier day.
| |
You Think You're (Fucking Ben Quad)
| |
"Never listened to this band cuz their name sucks ass"
yep lmao
| |
I've generally found something to like in all the different sounds these guys have delivered (and I'm probably the only person who rates Always Foriegn as one of their better albums), but this feels really bad. Like, in the sense that it sounds like a not particularly successful hardcore band's early demo.
They _really_ need to just get some hours practicing this style and developing their songwriting ideas for it if they want to actually release songs like this.
The vocals are actually the only saving grace here, they sound decent.
