Tbh I had fun with these, even as someone that isn't at all a beatdown fan. Way better than Code Orange at least. I enjoy the way they keep changing the parts up, slightly altering a groove or adding a new effect before anything gets stale. "Knocked Loose motherfucker" is a little corny, but what can you do lol. As someone who has low expectations from bands like this, I'm pleasantly surprised by this. And the production is pretty spot on.

I miss some of the Swedish death riffs but overall this still slays. They're simply way ahead of any other breakdown band in arranging the meat and potatoes of the genre. They're doing pretty derivative shit, but perfectly.

Yeah I prefer the Laugh Tracks/ADSOB style of KL but this still rips

The "THA TABLES TUERGNGHHH" breakdown was probably my favorite bit. The outro to the second song was cool too, but not something I haven't heard other bands do.

Wasn’t the biggest Knocked Loose fan. This changed my mind, been jamming them tunes since yesterday morning. I listened to the last ep briefly but maybe I’ll revisit their catalogue

It's amazing to hear the evolution of metalcore over the past decade. I remember when critics were lauding Deep Blue as the standard-bearer for metalcore in 2010. That stuff is Sesame Street now.

Both singles are great but I think I prefer Everything is Quiet Now.

Move over Seasame Street, it's time for Micky Mouse Clubhouse.

I gotta say though, Parkway Drive were never really on my radar. Never heard anything that wowed me once. There was really metalcore that made Deep Blue look like Sesame Street happening in 1990.
