i appreciate how the band is consistent in relasing album despite being hated/ignored by almost everyone

Kelly Jones' voice is an acquired taste, so that's for sure.

their live album was constantly played in my house as a kid

if that album represents anything, i bet they're good live

They have a couple of nice tracks on each record, but they've become too dad rock. A rock album closer to Language Sex Violence Other? would be nice to hear again from them.

Probably the best single I've heard out of them for a very long time, maybe since Dakota (which still kinda rules).
