That felt like a millennium.
Around 1:55 it goes full Sonic Adventure

much better than anything dt has done recently
|
| |
So glad this has good production (thanks Portnoy I guess?). Really reminds me of anime music, love the vibe
|
| |
Definitely feels like Crush 40 went prog.
Surprisingly good. Definitely better and more fun than anything DT has done in recent memory.
|
| |
kinda awesome. DT were my favourite band back in the day. hearing Petrucci and Portnoy together makes me feel like a lil 16 year old kid again ^_^
|
| |
Nothing revolutionary but I've been enjoying this a bit since yesterday. Wish the production was less dull tbh but the song is fun at least
Petrucci seems more playful on his solo stuff, and the Petrucci - Portnoy chemistry is instantly apparent

Omg I can't wait to listen to this. Glasgow kiss is one of my favourite solo guitar songs ever and I couldn't even tell you why
|
| |
I don't even like Dream Theater
|
| |
bland
|
| |
When it comes to solo playing, Marco Sfogli >
|
| |
Mangini is miles away from Portnoy as a complete drummer tbh
|
| |
A lot of the stuff from his last solo album reminds me of video game music and this is no different. I love it.
|
| |
Okay, this is epic
|
| |
should have kept it
|
| |
Thats actually cool that they're doing stuff together again.
|
| |
Really liked this. Petrucci and Portnoy together are magic.

Sonic: Terminal Velocity
I don't even follow Petrucci's work, but you guys are tempting me.
|
| |
I loved his first solo album a lot in high school, Glasgow Kiss was such a great song. Looking forward to this album
And so good to hear him play with Portnoy again
|
| |
I wasn't aware he had any solo stuff, but this song is pretty good.
|
| |
I'm just gonna say it the dude needs to practice guitar already
|
| |
Petrucci and Portnoy were born to play together
Even Portnoy's playing feels invigorated
|
| |
I don't get this.
|
| |
Corny af but better than recent DT at least. Probably a 3. Portnoy sounds really solid here though.
