GNR Open For Stones In Germany

2006-05-04 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 11 Comments
According to TheNewGuns.com, Guns N' Roses will open for the Rolling Stones at two of the latter's 'A Bigger Bang European Tour' dates in Germany.

The pair of concerts will take place on July 10 in Nurnberg and July 12 in Leipzig and mark somewhat of a landmark for both bands. The bands first played together and formed a bond in 1989 when touring the US together.

The Stones begin their stadium tour of Europe on May 27, the same day that GNR play the first of 17 festival dates in Europe, starting with Lisbon's Rock In Rio festival. It's the band's first tour since the abortive 2002 tour, which still hasn't been fully explained to fans.

Axl Rose is 103 years old.

As I say in many other GnR related posts. This cant really be called "the" GnR with just one member, surly it should just be Axl and Co.

pah, this is all wrong. Guns N' Roses actually start their european tour in Spain because that show was re-scheduled a few days ago. But hey, what can I expect from a part-time fan such as yourself.

I thought Guns N' Roses split up? and that Axl was working on a never-ending project called Chinese Democracy? And Guns N' Roses is nothing without Slash, I agree with the first comment they should be called Axl & Co.

Axl is a great showman, so I am confident that It will be a good show. I really need to hear the new G 'n' R.
