3776 new single 2020-04-30 by fluid in its most purist form. always drenched in an undeniable regal divinity. | 10 Comments | Widely known from their 2019 avant-pop monolith Saijiki, alt-idol group 3776 have dropped a music video for their new song "Watashi no Koukouseikatsu" (My Life As A Highschooler). The song steps back from Saijiki's polyphonic intensity, returning to their debut's the post-punk/art-pop crossover.
Comprised of idol Chiyono Ide and producer Akira Ishida, 3776 is branded as the official idol group for Mt. Fuji. Accordingly, the video sees Chiyono walking around Shizuoka Prefecture describing her, uh, life as a highschooler in deadpan terms while various shots of Mt. Fuji are shown in the background. It is included on the quarterly release Kikan Ide Chiyono Vol. 11; no plans have yet been announced for a new album

Saijiki was maybe AOTY last year and this is excellent, so hopefully it'll end up on something more substantial than Chiyono's quarterly series, and get there sometime soon !
