The Worst Of Them is the only good song by these guys, ironically.

Jesus Christ, I'm envious of people who can sit there and call this good.

This was garbage. Man, the bassist and guitarist clearly have the potential to make great music and they just get held back in this band

These guys are like the risecore equivelant of limp bizkit. Instrumentally they have a lot of potential but they just get held back by the ridiculously gimmicky sound and how awful the vocals and lyrics are.

"there must be some exaggerated/reactionary level to your comments "

Michael leaving/getting kicked out/whatever tf happened ruined what made this band so interesting.

surely the 'interesting' aspects of this band are the clean vocals + the other added pop sensibilities. that's at least the shtick.

Yeah I thought the pop sensibilities were successful here, pretty groovy song but I can see where some people are gonna hate it.

I honestly really like Issues, I know they're not that great but they're the only nu-metal band I can get into. I'm pretty excited for the album and I just hope they get a bit more experimental and make up for losing Bohn.

Their first album was decent, but this is straying further from what got me into them in the first place; it’s practically pop. I’ll be morbidly curious to check the album out when it drops, but it’s certainly going to have to be Herculean in sound and flow to make me regard it favorably.

I loved this. Chorus is fun and the bridge is great. People need to lighten up a bit. Issues are an easy band to hate for people who take themselves too seriously, but hot damn do they do a great job of actually pushing their sound forward.

Considering some of my favorite bands, I'd hardly say I take myself too seriously. I just cannot stand anything the band has going for them (look at these genre tags, ffs: Nu Metal, Metalcore, Contemporary R&B, Djent, Funk Metal).
If you like it, great, but it shouldn't be hard to see why so many people think they are steaming hot garbage.

The song starts off p bad but as it went on I started to like it more. Still one of the weakest tracks they've released tho.

I would swallow my pride
I would choke on the rinds
But the lack thereof would leave me empty inside

Swallow my doubt, turn it inside out
Find nothin' but faith in nothing
Wanna put my tender, heart in a blender

Watch it spin round to a beautiful oblivion
Rendezvous, then I'm through with you

Bridge is really catchy but the chorus and verses are pretty underwhelming given Tyler's track record for writing solid hooks.

Tapping Out was great so i'll check out the album regardless.
