Cautiously optimistic, but not hoping for much. The last album was...okay, nothing noteworthy but too inoffensive to really hate.

On the other hand, I'm waiting for this to drop so that Rocked Reviews can show his hypocrisy regarding "butt rock" once again.

I absolutely loved Lifelines when I first listened to it. Of course, I was 15 at the time, and listening to it now I'm starting to see how generic it is. I'm still gonna listen to the new record, and hopefully it'll be more creative.

On Feb 19 they said a new song would drop the next day, but another post from one hour ago today says it'll now be released tomorrow. So idk what information OP is going on but as of now it's already wrong.

They got like 40k shares on the original post so

While I do agree that them asking fans to share a post to 100,000 times in order for them to release a new song is kind of tacky, It’s actually a smart business move and the new track is awesome. I know sput isn’t much for anything metalcore these days but they seriously focused on their potential showed on the debut and released easily their best sounding track all around so far. They’re already pretty popular and I can only see them gaining even more acclaim and success if the entire album follows the formula of the single . I enjoyed the first album and her EP so I might be biased but I think the single will surprise some people. It’s refreshing to see a band unafraid to stay heavy in this day and age .

yeah by heavy they mean Drop G chugging. This new song is generic, but I find it a lot more focused and fun than anything they've dropped prior.

Wage War did it right. No year long bating, just a fire track out of nowhere. This didn’t live up to the hype.

Honestly would rather this than any Wage War song that isn't Stitch or Johnny Cash

Wage War is one of those bands that has a ton of hype but I've never been able to see it outside a few songs.

Wage War’s llive show is 7/10 but I agree. I’ll jam about 4-5 song of theirs on my playlist but I just severely dislike Architects vocalist.

Both times I saw Wage War they crushed it live, it was wild. Also I think they gave better songwriting chops than I Prevail. Also, Briton is a pretty good vocalist.

Both bands are good live from my experiences but I would give songwriting chops to Wage War as well.

Crystal Lake demolishes both of these bands anyway.

I was impressed with Bow Down but the second one...ugh. Might even be worse than Stuck In Your Head, which was their worst song for a long while.

Stuck In Your Head is pretty awful, the biggest reason I had a hard time taking these guys seriously for a while. Breaking Down is like a half-assed version of everything off the last Amity Affliction album.
But yeah I genuinely think Bow Down is the best thing these guys have ever released.
