Within Temptation album postponed 2018-11-30 by Toondude | 15 Comments | Dutch symphonic metal group Within Temptation have postponed their upcoming album, Resist, due to "production problems". Instead of the planned December 14th release date, the new album will drop on February 1st of next year.
The band released a statement on the issue on social media:
"We are super overwhelmed by the great response to our new music and we want to thank all of you for your endless support! However, we are currently experiencing production problems and are forced to postpone the release of RESIST to February 1st, 2019. But don’t worry: all the preorders will still be on and delivered to your doormat.”
The band in the meantime have released 3 singles for the upcoming album, "The Reckoning", "Raise Your Banner", and "Firelight", all of which feature Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Anders Friden (In Flames), and Jasper Steverlinck (Arid) respectively.

Doesn't it happen very often though? Tool come to mind. Or Opeth. However, it's pretty close on the release date this time, with only two weeks to go... That's kind of weird yes!
