Wow, this exceeded my expectations. I still think they need to shoot whoever brickwalls every fucking song they put out but the actual songwriting here is excellent. Especially enjoyed the ending solo.

Yeah as much as I enjoy BSC, all I can think when I hear that quadruple/infinity drum is imagining the numbing feeling of bashing my head repeatedly against my keyboard.

I think it it works well for a lot of cyber-sounding tech death, but otherwise I think a more bass-y bass drum sounds better. Fenriz is disappoint.

Hey man, I loved Idolator and although it's naff, I think Epsilon is a really fun and interesting album. Each of their previous efforts had a unique identity, but by comparison this seems to be a bit of a mess.

Each to their own though.
