Britty Drake, co-frontperson of Michigan shoegaze outfit Pity Sex, announced her departure from the band via Twitter. Their final show on tour with Best Coast will be her final show with the band, set to be on August 18th at the Pyramid Scheme in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I mean, I'm not a huge fan, but I've heard enough of their songs to know that they need her. They need to get another female vocalist for sure.

yeah I wonder if they will keep making music without her though. They have a decent sized discography for a band in this scene. Plus their last album was pretty solid so I wouldn't be the most upset if they called it quits
