Ok but this post is missing the best part. In the letter Casey wrote to (sort of) explain why this album is coming so soon and whether it's the last of the Acts, he announced a tour to support the album, as well as this:

"In addition to the tour, we will also be having ‘Story Time with Casey’, and while that sounds like the setup for a late night cartoon, it’s really an opportunity to get together, meet face to face, and discuss the larger world that exists in the records - be it the story or the music."

I still don't know what that means, but I'm psyched.

I was worried about this coming so quick until I read that Acts IV and V were mostly written together.
So in other words, this should be brilliant.
Song doesn't indicate otherwise. Love it.

So basically both Act IV and V were wrote at the same time, hence why this album is coming out so soon. What interests me is how Casey says Act VI won't be a rock record., I'm expecting a more sombre and melancholic ending to the series rather than gong out with a bang.

Act IV was easily my favorite Act to date. Second-favorite TDH behind The Color Spectrum. I have a feeling this will be right up there with em.

Man, this came out of nowhere. I was expecting at least a 3 year wait till the next Act. The song definitely sounds like it was conceived during the same time frame as Act IV, and it sounds great.

It's a bit bittersweet to hear that it'll be the final act in traditional form, but it's understandable. Seems like Crescenzo has more variety planned in his music, and wants to make this album his last 'boxed' album, to put it in his terms.

Excellent single, Casey Crescenzo is actually one of the most underrated composers in recent memory.

Pretty good song. He's good at taking extremely simple melodies like this that would be cloying or quickly tiring if someone else did it and making it work.

So just to kind of refresh everyone, Casey said years ago, before Colors that he was eventually release them all and at that time, 5+ years ago, that all the acts were basically complete and may all be released simultaneously and most likely only on digital. Obviously that changed a lot last year but still it stands to reason these would be quick and back to back since they've been done for awhile.
