The Grindmother Stream Debut 2016-05-05 by zaruyache | 11 Comments | Grandma-fronted Canadian grindcore act, The Grindmother, have begun streaming their debut record, "Age of Destruction," through Bandcamp.
The idea for the project arose after the band, Corrupt Leaders, requested their guitarist's mother record additional backing vocals for their music. After enjoying her time as a backing vocalist, the 67-year old woman and her son (known by the pseudonym "Rain Forest) decided to expand her foray into grindcore by forming a full-fledged grandmother-oriented grindcore project.
The result of this experiment is "Age of Destruction," a ten-track grindcore EP.

Yeah it's too clean to be really interesting to me as far as grind goes but props for her being open to something new and different (for her).
