Another band getting softer but I kinda like this actually especially compared to their last album. Vocals are getting better.

This is the most instantly-likable material I've heard from the Plot In You

Might actually get me to check this out, solid track. Not a fan of their previous stuff though.

I see why Crows didn't make the album, song is kinda lame. I've always kinda had a guilty pleasure for these guys, mainly their lead because he actually writes the lyrics and instrumentation himself. But I'm really into them getting a little slower. It seems to be working imo.

Yeah, Crows wasn't very good and doesn't seem to fit the direction that Landon is taking the band now. That said, I liked some of the things about Take Me Away, but I thought his sing/scream thing didn't sound the best at parts. And the song ended kind of oddly.

uncharacteristically good for a band I previously had no time for.

First time listening to the band. The lyric delivery is pretty solid. I also love the brooding mood in both songs. Might check out the album when it drops.

Good lord. Lyrics were a bit messed up last album, but he is a perfectly sane person and has never hurt a fly. Follow him on twitter, he's actually a very self-aware and likeable guy.

Exactly... not sure how him supposedly being "crazy as fuck" even got brought up, seeing as it's not really based in anything he's actually done.

I absolutely hated "Could You Watch Your Children Burn", but I've been waiting for them to make the conceptual follow-up to "First Born."

I'm not generally a fan of metalcore bands going softer, but it is a trend, with Bring Me the Horizon, We Came as Romans, and Parkway Drive kind of leading the charge, all to mixed results. I feel like TPIY's decision could be awesome or just terrible. For now, I'm skeptical.
