New Arthur Russell album 2015-05-01 by oltnabrick oltnabrick oltnabrick oltnabrick oltnabrick oltnabrick oltnabrick oltnabrick oltnabrick | 6 Comments | On June 9, Audika Records will release Corn, a collection of nine previously unreleased Arthur Russell recordings from 1982 and 1983.
Steve Knutson put together Corn using Russell's original 1/4" tape masters. This material made it to test pressings in 1985, but none were released. The songs are largely solo works with Russell providing cello, keyboards, rhythm machine programming, vocals, and production.
