Great song! Better than the new TDG
| |
I think both are ok, could've been worse
| |
They've always been better than TDG.
| |
[2]
| |
I swear I've heard that exact chorus before.
| |
Is this the diary of jane?
| |
Actually, yes. That plus Dear Agony's t/t.
| |
I don't mind Breaking Benjamin or this song but it sounds like something I've heard before from them.
| |
I'm happy with this song
| |
It's been like 5 years and nothing's changed. Not necessarily a bad thing
| |
I have a pretty soft spot for these guys' old stuff and phobia but god this was fucking boring .
| |
Pretty much the same as every other song they've written which is okay with me. A little cornier than usual but I'll give the record a few listens when it comes out.
| |
Lol Diary of Jane 2.0
| |
well this is disappointing
| |
Boring
| |
Sounds like Breaking Benjamin
| |
and that's okay :-)
| |
This song makes me want to go on a Breaking Benjamin binge over the next few days. Will always enjoy these guys just based off pure nostalgia. Excited to hear more stuff
| |
Is it just me or did all these post grunge bands lose their low-end kick? I could be remembering wrong but I could swear that bass used to be way more prominent in both BB and TDG's older material.
| |
well BB has 3 guitarists now so...
| |
Yeah sounds like every song they've ever done. I was kinda hoping for new ideas with the hiatus but nah false hope.
| |
why the fuck do they have three guitarists it's not like their material is complex or anything.
| |
That's a nice Nickelback song
| |
It's not a Nickelback song if it's not about having oral sex with a waitress ;)
| |
Sounds like a Dear Agony b-side. As for lead singles go for Breaking Benjamin, it's better than "I Will Not Bow" but no where near as inspired or compelling as "Polyamorous," "So Cold" or "The Diary of Jane."
| |
Well, this sounds exactly like Breaking Benjamin
| |
"why the fuck do they have three guitarists it's not like their material is complex or anything." [2]
| |
This Breaking Benjamin song is very Breaking Benjamin in the most Breaking Benjamin way.
| |
I see what you did there
| |
I am quite happy with this.
| |
this sounds a lot like diary of jane
| |
SOMETHINGS JUST ABOUT TO... oh ya wrong song
| |
Has a Band Name - Song Title combination ever been more accurate?
Edit: Eh, not as bad as I was expecting. Sounds like a Sick Puppies song.
| |
Not bad but kinda tame even for them.
| |
They changed their sound too much amirite
It's good though, somethings really weird to me about that intro. It's really rushed and it feels like everything stacks on top of each other awkwardly
| |
Kickass. All hail Breaking Benjamin. The hype is real
| |
"It's not a Nickelback song if it's not about having oral sex with a waitress ;)"
Then maybe he should get a blowjob from a waitress and stop moping all the goddamn time.
| |
These guys really have 3 guitarists? Doesn't sound like it.
| |
Replaces entire band
Sounds exactly the same
| |
I like BB, and I know their music has never been groundbreaking, but this is so ridiculously produced. Its like they followed the cookie cutter's guide for writing a song to a T.
| |
Boring IMO ... I HOPE the rest of the album will be better . It's too soft , maybe because the health issues Ben had ...
| |
The song is literally them rewriting The Diary of Jane, and the "heavy" riff in this they've honestly used so many times in the past, it's like they enjoy parodying themselves. Pretty bad stuff.
| |
I was hoping for some nostalgia but that was just generic and bad. Yfw they have 3 guitarists now
| |
the first 30 seconds are fine. The rest is meh.
| |
i hate it.
| |
"the first 30 seconds are fine. The rest is meh."
YEP !
| |
another crappy I V vi IV rock song
| |
wwba sighting ! ! !
| |
*vi IV I V

"Has a Band Name - Song Title combination ever been more accurate?"
All That Remains - This Isn't Going to End Well
| |
Definitely getting a Phobia vibe from this. Wasn't terribly impressed on first listen, but after a few more spins I'm getting into it. A very Breaking Benjamin song (for better or worse). I'm expecting at least 3 or 4 solid jams out of this album, can't wait.
So Cold > Diary of Jane >> Polyamorous > Failure >>> I Will Not Bow
| |
And yet it's catchy as fvck.
